About

The images and videos are designed reflect visual symptoms a patient may experience, but may not be exact.

These are designed to scroll through to view/show patients/caregivers/providers, etc. how someone’s vision may appear when words are not enough.

Below each image is suggested list of words or phrases that could be used to describe aspects of each respective picture. This is not meant to be an all inclusive list.

This is not intended to replace a diagnosis, but to aid with patient-provider communication to better articulate symptoms.

Below each category is an expandable + on the side that when clicked will reveal medical information, triage information, and possible ICD-10 codes. Clicking the - after expanded will retract it.

Warning: The on the next page below may be visually distressing. Please proceed with caution. All content found on the whatliesbeneathconcussion.com website, including: text, images, audio, or other formats were created for informational purposes only. HOW TO USE

Next Steps: Click to download a survey to print and share with patients to allow them to share their visual symptoms related to the images.

Recommendation: Allow patients to scroll through images and write down which images resonate with them on the paper survey OR select the images at the bottom of the screen to indicate which resonate close enough to visual symptoms.

Please note this is currently a beta version of this site and over time we intend to add addtional features and reports. If you have suggestions, we welcome them and want this to be a useful tool.

These images/videos are intended to be shown to patients so they may be able to indicate which images may reflect something similar to what they are experiencing.
